Stuffing!

This stuffing recipe is an original family recipe that I tweaked a bit to make magic! I love stuffing so much, the flavors and the combination of the perfectly cooked vegetables and the bread topped with gravy is a party in my mouth!

Serving size: about 10 people

Cook time: 30 minutes

Overall time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

1 loaf of challah bread cubed

1 white onion diced and sauteed

3 whole sauteed and diced carrots

2 cups of sauteed mushrooms

2 cups of sauteed celery

1 cup chicken broth

4 chicken sausages cooked and in (very) small pieces

2 eggs

4 tbsp. (chopped) thyme

2 tbsp. (chopped) dill

2 tbsp. (chopped) rosemary

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. poultry seasoning

1 stick of melted butter

salt to taste

pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350F

Add your sauteed vegetables, cooked sausage, and cubed bread into a large bowl.

Mix together and add in melted butter, don't mix after adding butter, instead add salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and garlic powder directly ontop of the butter to make sure that it sticks.

Add your chopped herbs and mix.

Add your chicken broth, mix.

Stir in 2 eggs

Cook for 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy on top.

Take a fork and mix slightly to release some air.

Let cool.

Serve with gravy.

Ejoy:)
